One Month to go!

Yep, you read it right!  ONE MONTH until the beginning festivities of the 20th anniversary of the Choate Family Reunion!!  So here's a little checklist to get our minds racing in reunion mode once more.

1. Check out the itinerary (at the end of this post)
2. Start getting excited AND find your hawaiian shirt! (cause it's a month away!)
3. Find your family's food assignment and start coordinating with your fellow sibling's family
4. Email me (or comment on this post) with ANY questions
5. Look for an OKC Visitor's Guide in your mailbox (should be soon)
6. Look AT the visitor's guide AND coupon book for ideas to do during free time
7. Continue getting excited!
8. Be assured that the Choate Family Reunion shirts are looking great!  (picture soon to come of the one-lined, no flowers winning design)
9. Plan your FIRST ANNUAL CHOATE'S GOT TALENT talent or display. (Keep an eye out for an email or post specifically for the CGT event. :))
10. Excitedly love your family!!

T-shirt Votes!

Well, the time has come for our first VOTE!

 

This summer, the Choate Family will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of Choate Family Reunions.  Because of this amazing event, we decided that celebratory shirts were in order! Thanks to an anonymous donor, our job is simply to vote on a design and pick sizes with no individual costs invovled. 

• Each design reads: Choate Family Reunion est. 1991 (thus, not putting a 2011 date to the shirt)
• The color of green on the actual shirt will be a darker, more of a forest/hunter green, with white embroidered letters.
• The Luau design includes flowers- if you like this the best, but dislike the pink, vote for it- and put your preferred flower colors.

Vote for your top preference.  You can vote as a family OR as individuals, but there will be only ONE final design chosen.

Guess What!?

We've been making some changes on the itnerary (aka: moving everything around) AND guess what!?

There's going to be a Friday Night Luau!! 

It's not to early to start digging out those Hawaiian shirts!  Sure it's the middle of winter and the reunion is still 6 months away.....but we don't want to catch you unprepared!  You have been warned!
